Sophisticated Site Clearing for Weston, CT

We provide sophisticated demolition and site clearing for Weston, CT homeowners. Excellence Masonry and Contracting's careful process will prepare your property for its next great feature.

Professional demolition is the critical and precise first step for any successful renovation, new build, or site-clearing project. Our approach is systematic and safety-focused, whether the job requires the surgical removal of interior walls for a remodel, the full tear-down of a detached structure like a garage, or the breaking and removal of foundations, concrete slabs, and asphalt. We manage the entire process, starting with a thorough site assessment, securing necessary permits, and coordinating all utility locates (Call 811) to prevent dangerous and costly errors. Our experienced operators use specialized equipment to carefully dismantle and remove designated materials while meticulously protecting adjacent structures, property lines, and any assets you need to preserve. We handle all aspects of debris management, including loading, hauling, and legal disposal, recycling materials like concrete and metal whenever possible to leave you with a perfectly clean, stable site, ready for the next phase of construction.

We specialize in the demolition and removal of outdoor structures to prepare for new projects. This includes old concrete or paver patios, wood or composite decks, sheds, walkways, small retaining walls, and other landscape features.

What does the demolition process involve?

Our process begins with a site safety assessment. We then carefully dismantle the structure using the appropriate equipment, making sure to protect the surrounding property. Once dismantled, we load all debris into our trucks and haul it away for proper disposal.

Do you haul away all the demolition debris?

Yes, absolutely. A key part of our service is leaving you with a clean, clear site that is ready for the next phase of your project. All demolition debris is completely removed from your property and disposed of responsibly.

Is the demolition process safe for my home and landscape?

Yes, safety is our top priority. We use controlled demolition techniques and appropriately sized machinery to protect your home, existing landscape features, and lawn from damage. We establish a clear work zone and maintain a clean, organized site throughout the process.

Do I need a permit for demolishing a shed or deck?

It depends on the town and the size of the structure. Many towns in Connecticut require a demolition permit, especially for structures that required a building permit to be built, like a deck or a large shed. It is always best to check with your local building department first.
